A Central Saint Martins grad from the MA in Fashion Design program, Alex did stints in Paris and London with Sonia Rykiel and Burberry before moving to Sweden, where she now resides.
The idea for The Sleep Shirt came after Alex found a 19th century men’s chemise in Spitalfields Market, which she began wearing to bed and instantly fell in love with for its comfort and design.
These unisex pieces use only natural fibres – high quality cotton and linens – and are shirts you never want to take off. Roomy fits mean you’ll never wake up tangled again and they get better with age. Designed to last, they will also, importantly, biodegrade at the end of their lifecycle.
These are ethical products that are made in Canada and designed in Sweden. Buy one, and you’ll be hooked.
We recently said that her sleep shirts are one of our favourite items of clothing, and it’s true. A night in a Sleep Shirt is a very good time!
