Have you been to Passione Vino? If not, hightail it to their Leonard Street store/bar/restaurant. There are so many things we like about this place. The perfect turquoise exterior with brilliant signage and wall to wall handpicked wines stocked inside. The hidden rooms and stately home décor. A great selection of independent wines, carefully selected cheeses and charcuterie and homemade pasta on request – they do that too. Someone here has extremely good taste, and his name is Luca Dusi, owner of Passione Vino.

Not only is Luca passionate about wine and sourcing the best suppliers for everything they sell, but after following him on Instagram, we realised he had great, great travel taste too. He seems to find those hidden gems, the one where the grandma’s still in the kitchen, and you’re somewhere in the mountains. It’s for this reason we asked him for his top 5 international restaurants this past summer. 

We’re excited to be working with Luca, and hope it will be a long partnership of all things wine and travel.
